Another month another nomination for The Battle To Beat Malaria! We are excited to be nominated in the Best Science Documentary category at the SILBERSALZ Science & Media Awards, and included as part of the SILBERSALZ Film Festival for 2024. 

The SILBERSALZ festival - the first international science and media festival of its kind - takes place annually in Halle Germany, this year from 30th October to the 3rd November.

The Science & Media Awards recognises stories about STEM subjects, celebrating excellence in promoting science discussions about global issues. It's marvellous to be included on the list with the other fantastic nominees, you can check out our competition here. 

The Battle To Beat Malaria has previously been nominated for an EMMY and a Rockie Award, as well as selected as part of the AFO Film Festival, and winning at the Impact Docs Awards. 

It debuted in the USA on PBS as part of the NOVA strand in November 2023, with an extended version broadcast on BBC Two in the UK in July 2024. News about the broadcast of a French and German version will be coming soon!
